The URM has several programs you can support-Choose One that is Meaningful to you. Financial Gifts Sustain Our Ministry and Provide for the Needs of the Homeless. Since The Union Rescue Mission does not accept Government Funding or United Way money, your financial gifts to the URM are essential to our providing for the Homeless and Poor in our community. There are many ways to give. We hope you will choose one that is meaningful to you. . . . BECAUSE THE ONLY THING BETTER THAN RECEIVING BLESSINGS IS TO GIVE BLESSINGS! Monthly Gift Club through Monthly Giving . . . Your unrestricted gift goes to work right away to help provide the necessary needs for serving the homeless and poor each and every month. Expenses of the Mission never take “time off”—they continue each and every month of the year. Support a Program that’s Important to YOU. By supporting a program that’s important to YOU that program becomes even more important to the Homeless and Needy as well. Because without YOU the programs are nothing! Make a Gift that Benefits You and the URM through Gift Planning. Planned gifts strengthen the Mission and provide income to you and your family, tax benefits through real estate gifts, or tax-free transfer of assets to your family through a charitable trust.
